TPEx Adopts Trinity ETL to Build Data Warehouse and Automate Data Management

The Taipei Exchange (TPEx), Taiwan’s non-profit foundation responsible for over-the-counter (OTC) securities operations, has recently implemented the Trinity ETL platform alongside the Trinity Metaman metadata management module and Trinity Data Protection module. This move marks a significant step forward in TPEx’s efforts to enhance data integration, governance, and security.

Using Trinity ETL, TPEx established a centralized data warehouse to consolidate regulatory reporting data within its big data platform. The intuitive drag-and-drop interface of Trinity ETL allows IT staff to easily build diverse data integration workflows. Its robust ETL engine facilitates secure, seamless transmission and integration across heterogeneous databases and file systems. The system also supports advanced scheduling and control, including conditional logic, looping, parameter passing, stored procedures, file operations, and OS-level commands, providing exceptional flexibility in workflow automation.

In tandem, TPEx adopted the Trinity Data Protection module to strengthen privacy safeguards and build customer trust. As data privacy becomes increasingly critical, this module plays a key role in protecting sensitive information and ensuring secure communication—helping mitigate risks such as unsolicited emails or potential data breaches that may impact customer engagement and retention.

Additionally, the Trinity Metaman module enables automated metadata governance, data lineage tracking, and impact analysis. This empowers staff across departments to access consistent, up-to-date data definitions, fostering clearer communication, shared understanding, and better alignment across teams and business functions.

TPEx, together with Trinity’s business representatives, affirmed their shared commitment to innovation and excellence. By investing in advanced data integration and protection technologies, TPEx is positioning itself as a leader in secure, efficient, and future-ready data operations—delivering long-term value to stakeholders and regulatory partners alike.
