TAITRA Successfully Implements Trinity Professional to Build Global Trade Big Data Customer Platform
The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), established to support businesses in expanding international trade, launched its Digital Technology Center in 2022. This strategic initiative was designed to help enterprises overcome the challenges of digital transformation by offering end-to-end solutions, including data-driven marketing and operational automation.
In today’s increasingly competitive global trade landscape, TAITRA recognized the critical role of data in enabling more precise customer insights and market forecasting. By effectively integrating and managing global customer data, TAITRA aims to strengthen its trade promotion capabilities and unlock greater commercial value. To support this mission, TAITRA selected Trinity Professional as its core data integration platform.
Following a thorough market evaluation of available integration tools, TAITRA implemented Trinity Professional to power its Global Trade Big Data Customer Platform. This ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) initiative is supported by Trinity’s Job Control Scheduler (JCS) module, which enables full automation of data processing workflows. To further enhance data governance, TAITRA also adopted Trinity Data Protection technology to anonymize sensitive information, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and mitigating the risk of data leakage.
Trinity Professional equips TAITRA with a robust framework to handle diverse data sources—streamlining the collection, cleansing, transformation, and loading of data. The addition of Trinity’s built-in data protection capabilities ensures that personally identifiable and confidential business data are de-identified, preserving privacy while maintaining data utility for analysis. These measures help TAITRA strictly adhere to domestic and international data protection standards.
Mei-Ying Chen, Associate Sales Manager responsible for the project, noted:
“The successful implementation of this ETL project offers multiple benefits to TAITRA. The new big data customer platform allows the organization to better understand global customer behavior, deliver more tailored services, and increase client satisfaction. At the same time, automated execution dramatically reduces time and labor costs, streamlining data processing and accelerating business responsiveness.”She added that the integration of data de-identification practices not only protects customer and corporate privacy but also reinforces TAITRA’s credibility on the international stage by aligning with global data compliance standards.
TAITRA views the adoption of Trinity Professional as a significant milestone in its digital transformation journey. Looking ahead, the organization plans to continue investing in advanced technologies to enhance its data integration and analytics capabilities—empowering smarter, faster decisions in the evolving global trade ecosystem and supporting the continued international growth of Taiwanese enterprises.
