Topco Scientific Co. Adopts the Upgraded Trinity 5.0 to Replace SSIS for Scheduling and Integration Needs
Topco Scientific Corporation (TSC) has long been recognized for its commitment to adopting the latest process technologies and implementing globally integrated logistics strategies through strategic planning and high-efficiency execution. Historically, TSC relied on SSIS to handle data processing tasks. However, as internal needs grew more complex, SSIS began to show its limitations—particularly in its lack of robust scheduling capabilities, which made seamless workflow orchestration increasingly difficult and placed a heavy burden on IT personnel.
Following in-depth requirements analysis and a thorough understanding of TSC’s existing environment, the company transitioned to Trinity 5.0, specifically leveraging the Trinity JCS (Job Control Service) scheduling management module. This powerful tool addresses the gaps left by SSIS by enabling the full integration of job scheduling across various systems. Trinity JCS brings together all dependent processes into a single platform for centralized control and automated scheduling, significantly reducing the frequency of manual intervention and operational friction.
The newly upgraded Trinity 5.0 features a fully web-based interface, making it the only software solution in Taiwan that combines open data acquisition with integrated ETL transformation and processing capabilities. Both the ETL and JCS components of Trinity 5.0 offer four distinct web interfaces—for management, design, execution, and historical monitoring—allowing users to operate entirely from a browser without the need for specific hardware configurations or third-party installations. This web-based experience includes sophisticated workflow controls such as process dependencies and conditional execution logic.
For TSC, Trinity 5.0 addresses the key limitations of SSIS while offering a visualized dashboard to display real-time progress and centralized operational statuses. Detailed execution logs further support system maintenance and troubleshooting by IT staff.
CTO Wu Cheng-Yu, who led the development of Trinity 5.0 and its web transformation, commented: “The launch of Trinity 5.0 has generated tremendous interest from both existing and potential clients. With browser-based access, enterprise-grade software can now be managed and designed with ease—without requiring clients to install licensed or open-source programs locally. Trinity 5.0 significantly lowers the entry barrier, empowering users to manage, design, execute, and maintain systems more efficiently.”
With its high availability, full integration capabilities, and robust performance, Trinity 5.0 delivers enterprise-grade IT process management that meets stringent SLA expectations—empowering users to oversee operations at scale while unlocking new value from automation.
