Mega Insurance Insurance Adopts Trinity to Advance FinTech Innovation and Integrate Service Resources

Mega Insurance Co., Ltd. (hereafter “Mega Insurance”) was honored with the “Excellence in Digital Innovation” award at the 2nd Commercial Times Digital Finance Awards, recognizing its forward-thinking approach to insurance FinTech and its capabilities in integrating service resources. This accolade underscores Mega Insurance’s commitment to applying innovative technologies in digital insurance services.

In 2022, Mega Insurance adopted Trinity Professional to consolidate both historical and current data across its operations. To enhance data security and compliance, the company also implemented the Trinity Data Protection module to anonymize sensitive personal data, safeguarding customer privacy. Additionally, the Trinity Address Normalization module was introduced to standardize and validate address data across the organization, reducing the operational costs associated with inaccurate or incomplete addresses.

As part of its ongoing digital transformation, Mega Insurance has actively pursued cross-industry collaborations and embraced digital innovation in InsurTech. Customers can now conveniently complete policy issuance and transactions entirely online, across diverse user scenarios—a level of service made possible by the behind-the-scenes efforts of Mega’s IT team and the robust capabilities of Trinity Professional.

Trinity’s embedded data processing plug-ins support various file formats and databases, while its automated file ingestion features verify file integrity through checks on size and completeness. For operational automation, Trinity enables active monitoring of designated FTP directories and automatically triggers associated workflows upon file arrival—streamlining batch processes and reducing manual intervention.

Given the inherently sensitive nature of insurance data, Mega Insurance prioritized data privacy and compliance. With the Trinity Data Protection module, the system can automatically scan enterprise databases, detect fields containing personal data or specific formats, and carry out precision-based masking or anonymization—mitigating the risk of data leakage and ensuring full alignment with regulatory standards.

Mr. Huai-Zhen Luo, Associate Director of Business Development for the project, noted that the original project scope was limited to implementing Trinity’s Address Normalization module to improve customer address accuracy. This module supports scheduled batch corrections and real-time address validation via API integration—modernizing outdated or incomplete records and improving delivery accuracy while reducing mail-related overhead.

Following deeper engagement with Trinity’s modular capabilities, Mega Insurance expanded the project to include Trinity Professional and Trinity Data Protection, significantly enhancing overall data integration and governance. The result has been highly positive customer feedback and a more resilient, compliant digital infrastructure ready to support the company’s continued innovation.
