Garmin Taiwan Integrates Supply Chain Data Exchange Platform with Trinity Enterprise

Garmin, the world’s leading GPS brand, operates globally with a strong presence in the aviation, marine, and automotive markets. In recent years, Garmin has expanded its footprint into the fitness and wearable technology sectors. With such a broad and complex range of product lines—from planning and R&D to manufacturing and sales—the accuracy and efficiency of supply chain data exchange processes are crucial. To address this challenge, Garmin Taiwan implemented Trinity Enterprise as part of a strategic technology initiative to streamline scheduling and data transformation within its supply chain platform. The result has been significant gains in operational integration, particularly through Trinity’s robust support for cross-platform and cross-system workflows.

As part of the project, Garmin leveraged Trinity’s JCS (Job Control Service) to manage complex scheduling tasks and workflow executions. The system accommodated diverse working calendars and time-based execution definitions, using SFTP to receive data from external suppliers. Trinity’s built-in capability to proactively detect activities in specific FTP directories allows for the automatic triggering of follow-up operations once a file is received—enabling end-to-end automation and significantly reducing manual intervention.

Moreover, Trinity supports API calls directly within job configurations, enabling seamless integration with Garmin’s external supplier systems for full ecosystem connectivity. Mr. Roy Luo, Associate Sales Director at Trinity, noted: “Garmin’s adoption of Trinity Enterprise allows all workflow operations to be visualized and controlled through a single, unified interface. Whether via graphical, hierarchical, or filtered views, Trinity offers real-time insight into system status. With multiple agent executors managing resources efficiently and a built-in load balancing mechanism, system stability is maximized. Garmin has been extremely satisfied with the results.”

Trinity’s ability to simplify operations, automate routine processes, and enhance system maintenance continues to deliver exceptional value for enterprise clients like Garmin, reinforcing its role as a reliable partner in modern supply chain digitalization.
