CPC Corporation, Taiwan adopts Trinity ETL to enhance Big Data Center management and analytics performance

As the Industry 4.0 era gains momentum, Taiwan’s government continues to promote digital transformation across sectors. While many private enterprises are actively adopting emerging technologies such as AI and big data, CPC Corporation, Taiwan—the nation’s leading state-owned petroleum enterprise—has also taken initiative by establishing its own Big Data Center. As part of its digital advancement strategy, CPC aims to set a benchmark in the energy industry by leveraging AI-powered analytics to manage and apply enterprise data more effectively. Through the Big Data Center, CPC has begun integrating big data into the management of gas stations and electric vehicle charging/swap stations, enabling real-time resource tracking and more responsive services.

To support this transformation, CPC Headquarters adopted Trinity ETL to centralize and streamline data integration. Data from its core systems is now funneled into a centralized data mart using Trinity ETL, where it is automatically processed and managed through integrated job scheduling. This automation has significantly improved the operational efficiency of CPC’s Big Data Center and reduced the reliance on manual tasks by IT personnel, allowing for smarter allocation of human resources.

Following the successful implementation of Trinity at headquarters, CPC plans to extend its use across multiple business domains—including natural gas, refining plants, manufacturing sites, fuel distribution, and gas stations. By applying AI and Trinity’s automated scheduling to processes spanning the supply chain, production, and sales, CPC aims to build a fully digitized and intelligent management ecosystem. This strategic move is expected to lay a solid foundation for embracing future tech-driven opportunities.
