Bank of Taiwan Shanghai Branch Adopts Trinity Professional Integration Services for Legal Reporting System
The Bank of Taiwan has maintained a branch in Shanghai for some time. Its legal reporting (regulatory filing) system is responsible for receiving and processing massive volumes of banking data, generating, updating, and uploading regular filings, and consolidating data for use by other systems. However, the legacy platform—built through traditional programmatic development—could no longer meet the growing diversity and complexity of modern business requirements. Additionally, the lack of an automated scheduling system hindered operational efficiency. After a careful evaluation, the Bank of Taiwan decided to adopt the Trinity platform to replace the legacy code-based solution.
In 2018, the Bank of Taiwan was once again awarded the Gold Medal in the Banking Category of the “Trusted Brand” awards, marking the 13th consecutive year of receiving this recognition. As a high-standard financial institution, the bank benefited from Trinity’s robust capabilities in detecting and correcting rule violations during data processing. With Trinity, the system can efficiently validate and compare hundreds of thousands of data records in real time, quickly verifying accuracy and minimizing errors arising from data inconsistencies.
This project successfully transitioned the legal reporting system from a legacy environment to a Trinity-based integration framework. Combined with the Trinity JCS job scheduling and control module, the solution manages job execution order and dependencies, ensuring that the reporting process runs smoothly and sequentially. Data is read and written with precision, without omissions. This implementation not only improved operational reliability but also reinforced the bank’s commitment to maintaining data quality, driving performance-based outcomes, and sustaining a forward-looking, service-oriented approach to excellence in the financial industry.
