O-Bank joins forces with Trinity to drive innovation in Taiwan’s financial market

After 17 years of operation, Taiwan Industrial Bank has officially transformed and rebranded as O-Bank, marking a significant milestone by becoming Taiwan’s first cloud-native digital bank. Partnering with NetPro Information Co., O-Bank implemented a Trinity ETL project to establish a new benchmark for digital innovation in the Taiwanese financial sector.

O-Bank emphasized that this ETL project sets a precedent for cloud-native digital banking services in Taiwan. To align with the operational model of digital banking, the bank adopted the Trinity Enterprise platform. With its web-based interface, Trinity enabled an efficient and streamlined project deployment. By implementing Trinity, O-Bank aims to enhance the quality and efficiency of its wealth management services, promote inclusive finance, and expand its service coverage—further reinforcing its market position and leadership in Taiwan.

Cheng-Hung Huang, Senior Product Marketing Manager of the Business Intelligence Division at NetPro, noted: “In this project, NetPro provided a comprehensive suite of Trinity modules, including Trinity ETL, Trinity Metaman for metadata management, and Trinity Data Quality for data governance. Leveraging our localized development capabilities, we also delivered a customized integration tool for Salesforce, enabling seamless ETL operations such as extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading. These processes are scheduled to run automatically, simplifying the overall IT environment, increasing operational efficiency, and significantly reducing annual maintenance costs.”
