Trinity Successfully Signs Big Data Platform Project with China Post Group Headquarters
In September 2016, Trinity signed a software procurement agreement with an integrator, officially becoming the designated data integration software provider for the “China Post Big Data Platform Engineering – Hadoop Software and Platform Integration Project.”
To promote enterprise-wide data integration, establish a comprehensive data governance framework, and enhance big data analytics and application capabilities, China Post Group launched a unified big data platform built on Hadoop technology. As a critical part of this initiative, seamless data exchange between the Hadoop-based big data platform and the existing traditional Teradata data warehouse was essential to the project’s success.
As one of China Post’s top-priority IT initiatives in 2016, this project underwent rigorous public testing and competitive bidding. Trinity’s data integration solution stood out from the competition, earning official recognition from China Post as part of its core infrastructure stack.
The China Post big data platform is one of the few projects in traditional industries in China that has fully adopted Hadoop to replace legacy data warehousing infrastructure. Its complexity—integrating numerous business systems and processing large-scale datasets—requires a powerful and stable data integration tool capable of supporting high-volume data exchange. Trinity was selected to handle over 20,000 scheduled jobs and daily incremental data loads exceeding 5TB. Working alongside a leading Hadoop platform vendor, Trinity played a key role in helping China Post build an industry-leading, high-performance, and stable big data analytics environment.
