Trinity was invited to participate in the “3rd Cross-Strait Annual Summit on Software and Information Service Industry in Rugao, China.”
On October 30, 2014, the 3rd Cross-Strait Annual Summit on Software and Information Service Industry was held at the Jinling Jinding Grand Hotel in Rugao, Jiangsu Province, China. The event welcomed over 100 participants, including leading software enterprises and industry experts from both Taiwan and Mainland China. Distinguished guests included Sumei Gao, Deputy Director-General of the Operational Monitoring and Coordination Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT); Yong Wen, former Inspector of the MIIT Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office; Xiaofan Zhao, Chairman of the China Software Industry Association (CSIA); CSIA advisors Chong Chen and Kunshan Hu; Yu Chi, Director of the Software Division at the Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission; and Yun Zhu, Deputy Secretary-General of CSIA.
Representatives from key industry players such as Chinasoft International, Trinity, Neusoft Xikang, Huadian Internet, the Taiwan Agricultural and Fisheries Information Center, and Ray Pinh Technology delivered keynote presentations during the summit.
Themed “Information Services Driving Economic and Social Transformation,” the summit aimed to foster cross-strait collaboration in the software industry, promote complementary strengths, attract high-quality investment to Rugao, and enhance the scale and quality of software and information service projects.
Trinity President Mr. Hung-Chin Lee delivered a keynote titled “Data Synergy as a Catalyst for Economic and Social Transformation.” His speech offered compelling insights into how big data is deeply integrated with various sectors of society and the economy, and how it is set to become a new growth engine for the information industry. He also highlighted how industrial upgrading through big data will bring profound changes across different domains. His presentation was well received by industry peers and experts, leading to his appointment as a member of the Cross-Strait Information Industry Liaison Expert Group.
