Trinity Participates in 2014 SAS Forum China and Analytics Leadership Summit
On April 17, 2014, the second SAS China Users Conference and Business Analytics Leadership Summit concluded successfully at the Crowne Plaza Beijing U-Town. Held under the theme “Big Data Analytics – Awareness and Opportunity,” the event brought together nearly a thousand participants, including global big data experts from SAS, Chinese SAS users, strategic partners, academics, media, and industry analysts. The summit focused on the latest trends in big data analytics technologies and explored practical applications and future business opportunities enabled by analytics.
As a strategic partner of the SAS Forum China Users Conference and Business Analytics Leadership Summit, Trinity was invited to present joint solutions alongside SAS. At the event, Trinity showcased its suite of enterprise-grade solutions, including the Trinity Big Data Management System (TrinityBDM), Unified Data Integration Platform (TrinityDIS), Job Control & Monitoring System (TrinityJCS), and the Trinity–SAS Text Miner joint solution. These offerings garnered significant attention from attendees, with continuous interest and inquiries throughout the summit.
The summit opened with remarks by Mr. Foo Shih Woo, President of SAS Greater China, who noted, “Big data is one of the most prominent forces reshaping the business world today. As global data volumes grow exponentially, we must focus on translating this data into real and tangible value.” Ross O’Brien, Asia ICT Lead Analyst for The Economist, commented during his keynote that “China’s economy is undergoing a transformation. While growth may be slowing, its quality is improving. This moment provides a valuable opportunity to drive economic restructuring and prioritize the development of the digital economy. China is increasingly viewed by leading global tech companies as a prime destination for advanced R&D, with its status as a global innovation hub steadily rising. In the era of big data, data-driven IT innovation is a critical engine for China’s next phase of growth.”
